Here is the list of available classes for the month of May 2016:
Beginner's Knitting & Crochet
Ongoing class series
Tuesdays @ 10:00 a.m.
In this class, beginning knitters will learn a basic cast on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, and how to cast off. You will also learn how to find and knit to gauge (swatch), and read a beginner's pattern. For crochet, you will learn the basic foundation chain, single and double crochet, turning and finishing off.
If you are a more advanced knitter or crocheter, we can work on reading patterns, learning new stitches, different bind-off techniques, weaving in ends, and other handy tips and tricks. You may also bring a work-in-progress if you need help with a particular step in a pattern.
We will also be working on a different square or project each week to help learn more advance skills. You can bring a project you've started and need help with.
Open to any age or skill level.
For this class you will need:
Yarn of your choice
Needles or hook to attain gauge
If you need help selecting yarn or needles/hooks, we can cover this at the beginning of class.
Cost: $10
